Matthias shoots weddings because he believes that joy is beautiful. This view shapes the way he tells the story of each wedding day as the celebration unfolds. He combines a unique ability to capture the moments of the wedding day with an editorial aesthetic and love for presenting people in their most beautiful light. Matthias has traveled worldwide and has lived on four continents. Currently, he lives with his wife in San Francisco and travels to Hawaii, Boston, Chicago, and Latin America for assignments.
