Jerzy Modrak

• Biography & Information

I am a traveling wedding photographer based in Stockholm and Warsaw. I learned the trade in Sweden, studying photography at Stockholm University and taking part in workshops taught by Martin Parr and Bruce Gilden, two giants of modern documentary photography.

I also studied documentary film at Nordens Folkhögskola in Sweden, only to find out that my heart belonged to stills photography. My professional career took off working for Vagabond, at that time probably the most innovative travel magazine in the world. I have tried my hand at nearly all kinds of photography, but nothing gives me the thrill that a wedding does. It is my passion to capture this special occasion with images full of life, love, warmth and humor. I speak fluent English, Polish and Swedish as well as very basic Spanish.,
