My husband and I re-located to Maryland in May of 2003 and a year later our first son was born. This was the beginning of my career. I started investing into serious photography gear, practiced at home, checked out every book on photography that the library had to offer and also took a college class on the use of SLR camera's. I completely buried myself into learning this art on a professional level. I moved on to taking pictures of friends. Friends of theirs saw the pictures and came to me, then friends of those friends came to me. And so it started.

One day I was approached about doing a wedding and I decided that the time is right to take the step. I studied more, did free weddings to build my portfolio and I grew from there.

Now, 5 years later I am married to my wonderful supportive husband, we have two beautiful children and I have developed into a successful wedding and portrait photographer. I absolutely love what I do, I love all of my clients and I love providing lasting memories to so many special people. I have won the Wedding Wire Bride's Choice Award two years in a row and have my work displayed with Wedding Venues and Florists.

I strive to continuously improve myself. You can never finish learning as times and styles change and I am committed to keep up with the times.
