I studied journalism with an emphasis in photojournalism at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. After graduation I worked for a variety of organizations and publications including a commercial photography studio in Atlanta, as the staff photographer for the Fulton County Daily Report, a freelancer for the Australian Associated Press and continuing freelance work for the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

When not shooting a wedding or working on other photo assignments, you will definitely find me out hiking or camping or generally finding any excuse to be outside! I also love taking continuing education classes and have done everything from Vietnamese and Spanish courses to pottery, knitting, ballet, belly dancing, yoga, oil painting…and the list goes on.
