Alisen is a professional photojournalist who has been photographing weddings in Jasper National Park since 2005. With a diploma of Journalism Arts majoring in photojournalism from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology, she spend two years covering a variety of small town and national news events from her home base in Jasper, Alberta, Canada. After this she left her staff job at a local newspaper to pursue wedding photojournalism full-time. Living in the heart of Canadian Rockies, Alisen is extremely active and it's on the trails or in the mountains where she feels most at peace. The Wedding Photojournalist Association proudly recognizes the accomplishments and creative excellence of Alisen Charlten. The following awards have been earned by Alisen from the WPJA. These achievements come with great merit considering the high level of competition that a member faces in the contests.

Alisen Charlten offers the following wedding coverage packages.

$2400 - Every Special Moment
Wedding day photography services by the primary photojournalist provided from start to finish including morning preparation/relaxation activities, the ceremony, champagne toasts, relaxed candid portrait sessions and reception acitivies. Final package delivered will include digital files on DVD, but no prints.

$500 - Alpine Elopement
Perfect for the couple coming to Jasper alone and looking for photographic documentation of a short civil ceremony and a small selection of intimate, relaxed outdoor portraits. This package is only available TUESDAYS through THURSDAYS and non-holiday MONDAYS.
