You can call me "Porter". My wife & I share the first name, Shannon, and I have been referred to as just "Porter" since grade school. As a completely self-taught photographer since 2002, I strive to capture the emotion and blink of an eye moments that occur within my wedding coverage. I also create unique, one-of-a-kind portraits with a fresh & modern twist.
My gallery & studio, which is available by appointment only, is located in the historic downtown of Winona, Minnesota. This is the city I call home with my wife and two children.

A wedding day consists of more than a ceremony & reception. I’ll cover the whole day.
Need a wake up call? Let me know. Need me at the salon? I’ll be there. Want me to stick around until last call at the bar? Cheers, I’m game. Memorable moments can happen at any time, so why not capture them all? You don’t need to worry about when I’m leaving as I’ll be there. Whether you need 8 or 15 hours, I’ll create photos of your whole wedding day.
Destination weddings are quoted individually. A minimum, non-refundable retainer of $1000 is required to book Shannon Porter Photography as your wedding photographer. This payment is also applied to your total balance. Total amount due 14 days prior to your wedding date. You can customize a payment plan for my wedding photographer services to fit your needs and budget. We can discuss your needs and give you a complete wedding day package that suits you best!
