Genevieve came to photogaphy in a traditional way. Her interest started as a child when her newspaper reporter mother brought home one of the staff photographer's cameras. She kept a firm hold of that camera and ended up getting a photography degree from Bennington College where she concentrated on documentary photography. After a small break to get her Masters in Social Work Genevieve opened her family business Genevieve Fridley Photography in 2005.,
