A long time ago, Auckland based wedding photographer Alex Wallace, used to shoot weddings in the traditional 'stop and pose' format, but a day working with multi award winning editorial photographer Christian Keenan changed all that. He instantly recognized that shooting reportage weddings was the way forward - and he has never looked back. A background in the carefully controlled world of commercial photography had already taught him to appreciate great lighting and composition. Thus he coupled this with the freedom and spontaneity of documentary work, to create a fantastic combination of aesthetic and emotion. Born in Guernsey in the UK, he emigrated to New Zealand in 2009 with his Kiwi wife, Tracy. They have a young daughter Ava (and another baby on the way!)
