Giving back to the community is at the heart of my business. I am a volunteer photographer for Operation Love: ReUnited, Inspiration Through Art, Kids Are Heroes, Dodging Diabetes and several other great organizations. 

Using my photography as a tool to help others has become a large part of what I do. I have documented the plight of AIDS orphans in Zambia, the struggle for land reform in Brazil, and the life of those who live under the totalitarian regime in Burma. I hope that in the future I can do more of this work and help bring to light the many situations that are not justly covered in the media.

I grew up in a small town in Indiana. It was there, in a high school darkroom, that I fell in love with the art of photography. I am incredibly lucky that this is now not only my passion, but it's my profession and the best career I could ever ask for.

I live in Frederick, Maryland with my husband Joe and our three rescue dogs. Joe is in the Army, so I have a very special place in my heart for military families.,
