I am an experienced photojournalist working in Central California. Currently I am on the photo staff of the Fresno Bee newspaper where I have been for 10 years. For three years during that time I supervised the photo staff as a photo editor. Prior to that I worked for the Appeal-Democrat in Marysville, CA after graduating with a photojournalism degree from San Jose State in 1989. I have won numerous awards from a variety of organizations including the National Press Photographers Association, Associated Press News Executives Council, California Newspaper Publishers Association, California Press Photographers Association, San Francisco Press Photographers Association, and SportsShooter.com. Among the most important stories I've worked on have been the Northern California floods of 1997, the aftermath of the September 11 World Trade Center attacks and the Methamphetamine problem in the Central Valley.,
