Denise Chastain received her first 35mm SLR camera for her 12th birthday and hasn’t stopped clicking since. She studied photography for 4 years in high school through an independent study program. This program was for students that excelled in a specific field. She then went on to study photography at the Fashion Institute of Technology, State University of New York in NYC. After graduating from FIT she started her commercial career. Denise Chastain has been in business for 19 years. Her work has appeared on magazine, book, and cd covers. Feature articles and national advertising campaigns have all played host to Chastain’s images.
