Monica Donovan got started in photography as a teenager when she picked up her dad's old Canon F-1 from the seventies. She was accepted into RIT, one of the top photo schools in the country, interned for photographer Rodney Smith, and earned a certification in business management as well as her BFA in Visual Media. She started shooting weddings at the age of 19 and founded Eve Event Photography with Judson Lamphere in 2006.
