After an internship in New York City at HBO, I spent the next few years living and working on the East Coast before returning to Indiana with my husband. It was there we began to shoot digital and began shooting portraits of models, couples, bands and children. My love of portraiture grew intensely during this time, and I knew that I wanted to combine my love of telling stories with my camera, with fashion, glamour and art.

In 2006 I re-located to beautiful Portland, Maine with my husband where we started our business, Fidelio Photography. I also began shooting weddings professionally and continued my fashion and commercial work. My background and education in photojournalism is instrumental to my work now as a wedding photojournalist, and I love telling the story of the most important day in someone’s life with my images. I shoot a wedding with a documentary style, shadowing my clients in an unobtrusive way, capturing those candid, unexpected and emotional moments throughout their day.

My work has been published in Seacoast Bride Magazine, Portland Style Magazine, Theknot.com, Southern Weddings Magazine, Popular Photography magazine and Lightleaks magazine. Additionally I am an award winning member of the Wedding Photojournalist Association (WPJA).
