Originally from the Chicago area, Kara Pearson began her photography career after graduating from the University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana. She moved to Colorado, working for newspapers and then began shooting weddings. She has won numerous photography awards and is constantly striving to improve. When she's not working, Kara enjoys hiking, reading, skiing and spending time with her family.
