I've always seen the world as though I were looking at it through a camera, focusing on details or color and shape in my mind, and freezing moments that were special and dear to me. As a kid, the plastic viewfinder of my Kodak Instamatic seemed a natural way to frame my experiences and share them with others. Later, studying film and working in television revealed the power of using images to tell stories.
