Beth Keiser
A former Associated Press and Miami Herald staff photographer, Beth Keiser's work has been published in most major newspapers and magazines, including the New York Times, Chicago Tribune, USA Today, Sports Illustrated, Rolling Stone and Time Magazine. Awards and honors have also followed her career with several awards from the National Press Photographers Association Best of Photography, Pictures of Year International and the highest honor of the Pulitzer Prize for Public Service as part of the Miami Herald's Hurricane Andrew coverage. Beth continues the journey today in New York City.

This couple supplied a friend with bubble machine for their big exit. It made so many bubbles it was fantastic. But the bubbles against the grooms black jacket just popped out at me and so I closed in tight with my 70-200 2.8 Canon lens to just show their interlocked arms and bubbles for a really fun detail picture.

There wasn't a graceful way to get on, so in the spirit of the moment the bride gets help hiking up her dress and hoping on. Using a slow shutter with a fast flash, I was able to stop the action but still keep the essence of the street scape.

The beauty of each wedding is you never know what little "gems" you'll find. I was walking around the brides amazing antique limo to get into the car when her father walked up. I immediately focused on his face and framed the bride into the picture. It was a tender moment between the two and instantly became one of my all time favorite car pictures.

The energy in this images is unbridled! The bride and groom took the Horah to a whole new level by chasing each other around the room. Using my Canon 5D and a rear-curtain sync flash, I was able to capture the peek of action. Super fun.

Nothing was more surprising to this Irish Catholic father of the bride than being lifted in the air during a fun Horah. His face shows all the excitement he was feeling and I was so happy to have a 20 mm wide angle lens on!
