I am 30 years young and have been shooting since I could figure out how to push the button. My father owned the first SLR from Canon and I grew up learning to take pictures on that. I would call my shooting style relaxed. I have taken classes from and studied under some of the great photographers of our time including Mike Colon, Cliff Mautner and David Beckstead. Read More...
I aim to capture and preserve the laughter, tears and joy, all of the emotions that come together in a magical bow on your wedding day, forever. I have been shooting weddings for 3 years, shooting for as long as I can remember. On average, I shoot about 25 weddings per year. I enjoy destination weddings, especially since I had one myself. Travel photography comes second to weddings in my heart. I have also been published in Everywhere Magazine.

"WHERE DO WE BEGIN??…. You not only provided amazing services with the help of your husband, but you two captured EVERY wonderful moment to make sure our wedding day would be unforgettable and guaranteed that we would have memories which we can share with people we meet for the rest of our lives. From our engagement pictures where we required a little bit of coaching, to our rehearsal dinner fun at the bowling alley all the way to the beginning moments of the rest of our lives together, you captured the moments that made that day special for both of us. We rave about you to everyone we meet and are most excited to start our family...more " just so you can do maternity and family pictures for us!!! You are going to be the gal we call to capture all the important moments for the rest of our lives…so in a way, I guess we married you and your services on our wedding day too! THANKS again and again for everything Corey, and husband! You are amazing!!!!" show less

"There is more that I want to say than I’ll have time to right now. We made an entire event of looking at the pictures last night, cracked a couple of trappist beers, and we didn’t even get through all of them. All I kept wanting...more " to say was “THIS is why we hired Corey.” Bethany is thrilled and showering me with credit for finding you. There were countless great ones, and a number of them that totally blew us away. That’s why we couldn’t get through them. We just had to stop and stare for a while. We could spend weeks, and probably will. So many things “went wrong” that night. The rain, mud, power shorting out… we almost didn’t have a way to even play the music for the weekend, but someone problem-shot that one on Friday for us too. There were a lot of coincidences and collaborative efforts that saved us from ever getting too stressed out. And anyway, it wouldn’t be our style if things went flawlessly. Every dramatic or climactic moment in our relationship’s history has had some awkward or funny thing happen to mess it all up. The fates never let us take ourselves too seriously. That was why, on Sept. 26 2008, I decided to propose while we were getting dumped on in the middle of a 20-mile day on the Appalachian Trial. It was not a scenic spot or at a break in the weather. We were exhausted and soaked. But we had a bounce to our step for the rest of the day after that. All the crazy details aside, we had as much fun as I can ever remember having, and you captured that. Thank you for giving us the ability to relive it with these beautiful pictures." show less

"When I began planning my wedding, finding the perfect photographer was extremely important to me. I decided I really liked the photojournalistic style of wedding photography and began looking for photographers in this style. I felt like every photographer I found in this style was too fake… the pictures all looked like posed models who were never smiling and their real personalities weren’t coming through. I then turned to the knot and that is where I found Corey. When I looked at her website, I immediately fell in love. She was EXACTLY what I was looking for. She uses the perfect balance of the photojournalistic style...more " yet she also seizes the fun essence of her couples and the moments of their weddings. Since I live in South Carolina, I had to plan my wedding from afar, and after talking with Corey on the phone I booked her immediately. I couldn’t be happier with my decision. There is not a single moment from my wedding that wasn’t captured on film -- even moments that I didn’t know occurred! The pictures are absolutely gorgeous, while still showing Jeff and my personalities along with all of our friends and families. Wedding days and honeymoons end, and flowers die. But the pictures Corey took are the only part of our wedding that will last a lifetime. I am so glad that I chose Corey to be the one to capture those lifelong memories." show less
