Ron Storer is an Award Winning Photojournalist with the WPJA and the AWPJA. Ron is based out of the Seattle area and is available for local as well as destination weddings. Ron Storer has been married to his wonderful friend, Neesie, for nearly the past 22 years and they have two amazing boys; Grant and Torey. Read More... Ten years ago, Ron Storer worked on a freelance basis with non-profit Organizations doing relief work around the globe. Now on occasion Ron still assists NPO's when possible and as his schedule allows.
What motivates Ron is the passion of the moment. Ron believes that every wedding has incredible priceless moments and he works hard to capture and preserve them for each couple. His typical clientele is someone who wants their wedding memories captured in a unique and special way. His clientele also tend to be artistic and relational as many of his clients have become dear friends. Besides receiving awards here at the WPJA, Ron Storer has also received numerous awards at the AGWPJA and is currently listed in 10th place worldwide for 2009.
Ron has studied under Joe Buissink and Becker. Other photographers that have impacted his life are Robert Capa, Eddie Adams, Sam Abell, Josef Scaylea, Jeff Ascough and Nate Kaiser. Prior to his photography career, Ron Storer raced on the US Cycling Team earning a Silver Medal in the Olympic Trials and a Gold Medal in the Pan-Am Games.

I'm a very analytical person and I really tried to take many factors into making a selection, I found the WPJA website really helpful because it introduced me to a type of wedding photography I wasn't familiar with; photography that told my story with pictures, now that sounded like something I was into. Once I knew I wanted a wedding photojournalist, I was excited to call people and interview them, and I was so happy that you and I hit it off and I was excited to see your work. I was even hoping deep down that some of your pictures from my wedding would win awards (and two of them did, how neat)! You were very professional and accomodating--heck, you traveled around the Seattle area to numerous sites for our engagement photo shoot. Plus, on the "big day", you traveled from Issaquah (ceremony) to Bainbridge Island (reception), which allowed for some really cool shots on the ferry.
