British photographer Philip Thomas resides with his wife and two daughters in San Antonio, Texas. Serving Alamo City and South Texas, he starting out in 1992 as a newspaper photographer, his influences stemming from creative news photojournalists he worked with on the south coast of England. Other influences are many and include great masters Henri Cartier-Bresson, Robert Capa, Robert Doisneau to the present day George Trifunovic and Jeff Ascough.

For eleven years, Philip traveled the world twice over, working on one of the most luxurious liners in the world, the QE2, from 1994 to 2005, where he was in charge of 5-10 photographers at a time. Philip limits his weddings to around 25 a year from his base in San Antonio. Philip loves what he does. Every wedding is captured unobtrusively while reacting and anticipating to moments.
