At the age of 7 Marianne had saved up enough pocket money to buy her first camera, she still has the first images developed from that camera. Her photography and studio skills have been enhanced by further studies as a mature student at a specialist photography college.
Marianne also regularly attends workshops and seminars and keeps her self up to date with the latest techniques and innovations.

Whilst working at a picture agency, Marianne was head hunted by Swedish Television and worked for them for 14 years as a Picture Editor. Marianne was later to became part of Swedish Television's Press and Communications department where she was involved in countless television productions filmed on location and in the studio, her duties being that of Photographer, Picture Editor and Communicator.

Marianne now runs a successful wedding photography business together with her partner Mark, who is a WPJA member. She travels regularly between England and Sweden photographing weddings in both countries and loves every minute of it.
