Bio: Photography, and particularly photojournalism, has been part of my life's story since I started reading National Geographic as a child. The depth of emotion, and the unyielding truth of photojournalism resonated with me as I grew up, and I began travelling, shooting and most importantly, living. The work of Steve McCurry, Tom Stoddart, James Nachtwey, and many others are a constant inspiration to me. As an English Lit major, I realized, more completely, the power and importance of the story. My passion is to learn and tell peoples' stories.
Bio: Jenny is a wedding, portrait and nightlife photographer with a photojournalistic approach. She regulary photographs for Seattle publications, including The Stranger and The Seattle Weekly and has served as house photographer for two prominent local music venues. Jenny's work has placed in WPJA and Photo Distric News (PDN) international wedding photography contests.
Bio: For 20 years, Pulitzer Prize-winning photojournalist Daniel Sheehan has created lyrical, artistic images for corporations and publications including 10 years on staff at N.Y. Newsday. Since 1997 he has photographed more than 200 weddings in the Pacific Northwest and around the world, for those who appreciate classic photojournalism with a style that is straightforward, subtle and unobtrusive. He also enjoys photographing jazz musicians in performance and lives with his wife and daughters in a Seattle Craftsman bungalow.

Bio: Born and raised in Seattle, Tor has photographed over 350 weddings both locally and abroad. Seventeen years of black and white darkroom printing, work as a graphic designer and love of the outdoors has shaped his photographic style. Tor's wedding photojournalism has been honored by the WPJA with a number of international awards. People that tend to hire him are couples that are seeking a photographer that understands the significance of the day's elegance.
Tor truly loves elegant events. Only a limited amount of weddings are booked each year to ensure an outstanding personal connection with each client. When not photographing a wedding, he can be found shooting for fashion designers, musicians, and live theater. He travels as often as he can but calls the NW his home. His style of photojournalism has his outdoorsy love of natural light tangled up with his urban fashion aesthetic. He feels thoroughly honored when he's chosen to photograph a couple's special day.
Bio: Lucas Mobley has photographed Bill Cosby, Lyle Lovett, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sheryl Crow. He started his career early, taking his first photojournalism class when he was 16. He attended Ohio University's renowned School of Visual Communication, graduating with a BS in photojournalism.
Lucas has worked for publications across the country, photographing the devastation of wildfires, the joy of NASCAR victories and the love that families share while overcoming hardship. He has made award winning, impactful images in the most stressful of situations. Now, he has shifted his focus and brings the skills that he has learned to documenting the beauty, emotion and fun of weddings.
Bio: Beginning in 1993, Karen gained experience in the wide variety of photography professions, from architecture and annual reports to fashion and photojournalism, through assisting other photographers. Combining those experiences with her innate desire to travel and always carry a camera, Karen developed her own documentary style. She photographed her first wedding in 1998. She also photographs motorcycles, corporate events and lifestyles. She has been published in magazines such as Easyriders and Sunset.
Bio: For nine years I have been documenting life through photography. I have had the priviledge of working for newspapers in six states where I have won awards from the National Press Photographers Association and the William Randolph Hearst Foundation. I also lived and worked in China where I documented the lives of an ethnic minority and taught English to 500 first graders.
Bio: Teddi has photographed over 200 weddings in the Pacific Northwest, where she currently resides with her husband and two young children. Teddi draws upon her experience and training in the theatre arts to document her clients' important events - engagements, weddings, pregnancies, births - as well as their day-to-day life as a family. She has received print awards from the Seattle Professional Photographer's Assocation, and has had numerous commissioned weddings published in The Knot Weddings magazine.
Bio: Kim Hayes graduated top of her class from the Art Institute of Seattle and has been photographing everything for the past 10 years. Recently married herself, she resides in Seattle with her Husband and two dogs.
Bio: Jen Grim has been photographing weddings for over ten years. Jen graduated from the University of Akron with a BFA degree in photography. She recieved the Mary Schiller Art Award from the Myers School of Art and has had exhibitions in several galleries in the United States.
Bio: Imagination, good reflexes, and a sense of humor: these are the hallmarks of her approach. Traci brings the same elements to her wedding photography as she does her fine art work. "The
less my subject is aware of me the better my pictures will be". The result is a wedding album full of candid, intimate moments. Traci has been featured in 7x7 magazine and the Bay Area 4 News as
"one of the area's most unique and creative wedding photographers".
Bio: Niki J. Desautels is a Seattle-based freelance and wedding photographer with a background in photojournalism. She has worked for newspapers in California, Pennsylvania, and throughout Washington State; including the Bellingham Herald, the Daily Herald in Everett and the Seattle PI. She has won recent awards from the National Press Photographers Association and the Associated Press.

Bio: Photography has been my passion for 20 years. I studied the fine arts in college while shooting for the newspaper and yearbook. After a master's degree, I taught English and humanities at the collegiate level in Washington State and Arizona. Later, I lived in Spain for several years, where I focused on architectural photography and photojournalism-style street photography.
After those experiences, I decided to follow my passion by starting my own wedding photography business in Spokane.
I bring my diversity of interests to my wedding photography. I aim to capture all the essential moments of the wedding that the bride and groom can relive whenever they look at their photographs. I have been married for 17 years and have a 5-year old son.
