I am a twenty something photographer based out of historic Charleston, South Carolina. Through studying advanced lighting techniques...ed by commercial and portrait photographers, I have sought to bring a commercial and editorial style to each moment as they spontaneously happen.
My early years of growing up were spent in two locations, Anchorage, Alaska and Birmingham, Alabama. My studies in college were focused on medicine and in 2004, I graduated with a degree in biology. After living in Nashville, Tennessee for a few years, I later moved to Charleston, South Carolina, where I have been currently for the last few years. It is during this time here that I assisted the most acclaimed photographers in the area and later started my own business. Over the last three years, I have shot weddings up and down the East coast, as well as in Arizona and even Germany. Traveling has always been an interest of mine and my future goal is to shoot more weddings in exotic locations.

The two best compliments I've received from my couples are: "You became part of our family for the day," and "We barely noticed you...but you were everywhere!" This really covers the most important parts of my job - to capture all the important, fleeting moments of your day without intruding on them, and to make you comfortable enough with me and my camera to be able to do that.
I spent eight years as a photojournalist in SC, Delaware, Pennsylvania, and Kentucky. I've covered everything from hurricanes (ask me about the time I was trapped in my car) to stories on uninsured women fighting cancer. I started my photography career to change the world; I'm still doing that - one quiet, intimate moment at a time.
I document a maximum of 15 weddings per year, to be able to give each of my couples the personal attention they deserve. Their stories are beautiful, unique, and important, and deserve to be treated that way. Read More

Located in the bright southeast, South Carolina presents wedding locations in surplus that will open up for extraordinary wedding photography moments. Roughly triangular in shape, the state’s coast is lined by the Atlantic Ocean and sandy beaches beginning from the north and heading southward. Towards the southern coast, it is here that a network of rivers and creeks meet, creating a mass of inlets, including the well known Sea Islands. Dream wedding locations with spectacular wedding photography opportunities are found at Hilton Head Island, an extravagant wedding destination with a bounty of activities. Your wedding photographer will be delighted to capture your wedding ceremony and celebration moments with a panorama of seaside loveliness in view. Couples that lean towards an outdoor wedding could possibly choose from the beaches that line the state like the Grand Strand and Myrtle Beach. Your coastline wedding location investigation could also lead you through other beautiful areas, including elegant flower gardens, historic seaports and pre-war plantations. Heading towards the western inland of South Carolina will lead you to find rolling hills and mountainous regions that will bring tremendous life and pictorial majesty to your wedding celebration and photographs.
