Oak Street Studios photographer Christine Hochkeppel documents weddings in a photojournalistic style. As a full-time staff photographer...r GateHouse Media New England, Christine understands the importance to capturing real moments on a day-to-day basis. She has worked professionally in journalism for 5 years and has shot numerous weddings throughout those years.
Christine's work is completely digital and she takes a creative, original approach to every wedding booked. Her style requires her to be sensitive to the environment but also to have a refined attention to detail. As a professional journalist, naturally, Christine works well under pressure, regularly contending with the stress of daily deadlines. She shoots in a candid, documentary style, but doesn't shy away from portraits as this is also an integral part of news photography. The art of capturing the moment is balancing an assertive and unobtrusive approach to the wedding coverage. In daily news assignments, she is constantly interacting with a variety of different personalities and communities and she expects to mesh just as well with her wedding clients and their families.
Christine's studio is located in Providence, Rhode Island, and will document weddings anywhere in New England.

Dennis Viera is an international, award-winning wedding photographer dually based between San Francisco, California and Dunedin, New...aland. I have had a passion for photography ever since I was young. Many years ago, I was asked to photograph a family member's wedding. When...ople saw the images, they were amazed. I was then asked to shoot for a friend, and the requests began to grow. So I left my formal education and job as a scientist to pursue this avenue.
Applying my professional background as a scientist, I believe has been a big advantage as a photographer. I look at my environment, people, and the world much more critically. I have learned in my science training to think several steps ahead and that has been a great asset as a wedding photographer, being able to anticipate.
Having spent time photographing in places as far away as the People's Republic of China, the passion has grown deeper and deeper. I formally started my photography business in 2006 and haven't looked back. Read More
