Nick Fancher graduated from The Ohio State University with a degree in fine art photography in 2005. His father had passed to Nick...s old film camera that he had purchased while stationed in Alaska in the Air Force in the 1960's. Nick then began his photographic journey in 1997 in high school where it has since evolved into a career in wedding and portrait photography. He has assisted several professional photographers around town and is well versed in wedding photography. He borrows heavily from his fine art background in his approach to wedding photography. He mixes a photojournalist style with an artistic angle. He shoots about a dozen weddings a year as he also collaborates with bands on making album and promotional art. He also continues to produce new art and has one or two art shows a year. He currently lives in Clintonville in central Columbus, Ohio with his beautiful wife Beth.Read More

I started photographing from an art background, after first using an old Pentax camera my father had given me while studying in college...y experience in art has helped in my approach to shooting weddings. I believe weddings are prime terrain for creating artwork and I like to challenge the assumption of what wedding photography can be. Clients can expect a mix of creative, fun and candid photographs in their Collection. When I'm not photographing weddings, I enjoy spending time with my family, photographing my son, dining out visiting with friends, listening to talk radio, art, shopping, or simply enjoying a good glass of wine.Read More
I am 30 years young and have been shooting since I could figure out how to push the button. My father owned the first SLR from Canon...d I grew up learning to take pictures on that. I would call my shooting style relaxed. I have taken classes from and studied under some of the great photographers of our time including Mike Colon, Cliff Mautner and David Beckstead.
I aim to capture and preserve the laughter, tears and joy, all of the emotions that come together in a magical bow on your wedding day, forever. I have been shooting weddings for 3 years, shooting for as long as I can remember. On average, I shoot about 25 weddings per year. I enjoy destination weddings, especially since I had one myself. Travel photography comes second to weddings in my heart. I have also been published in Everywhere Magazine.

I have a...ssion for capturing that emotion, bringing my clients back to that moment in time over and over again. My background in photography dates back further than I can remember, as my father was a very successful commercial photographer. He taught me more than just how to use a camera--he taught me to see. I am also a member of WPPI and the Digital Wedding Forum.Read More

I have always loved art and a good story, so maybe wedding photography was the natural marriage of both in my own life. It wasn't until...married my beautiful wife and had to choose a photographer for ourselves that I really became interested in the process of documenting a couple's wedding day. I was blessed to be mentored by two friends who were already successful professionals and I wanted to emulate their ability to tell each bride and groom's unique story together. That goal is what drives my work today.Read More

From my six years of experience as Assistant Photographer at the Cleveland Museum of Natural History, I shot a wide variety of photography...anging from product for the Museum Store, special events and documentary photography of curators in the field. This field work took me to the Afar Region of Ethiopia where I realized my dream of working as a traveling photojournalist. From my field work, I also learned that I am capable of producing beautiful photographs even under rigorous conditions. My work has appeared in in-house exhibits, T.V. commercials, and in a number of local publications including Lake Erie Living, Cleveland Magazine, and the Plain Dealer. One of my images even appeared in National Geographic Online
Experimentation plays a large role not only in my professional work, but also my personal work where I try to combine nature and the urban landscape in my photographs. I also experiment with a variety of cameras, anything from the best digital SLR systems and medium format cameras to toy cameras including the Diana, and the Holga. Some of my images even appeared in the Toy Camera Show at the Akron Art Museum.
I have been shooting weddings on a freelance basis since I graduated college and I have always enjoyed the experience because they were a change of pace from my work at the Museum. I enjoy capturing the excitement and emotion that accompanies such an extraordinary day.
