Dennis Viera is an international, award-winning wedding photographer dually based between San Francisco, California and Dunedin, New...aland. I have been a photography enthusiast since I was a child. Shooting with a little insta-matic left over from the 1960's my mom gave... me, I enjoyed that instant gratification of pushing the button and knowing I had captured something forever.
Much later, I learned I could actually manipulate that captured moment and make it more beautiful, completely surreal or catch the ambiance and feeling of that moment. I started modeling at 16 and worked with many different types of photographers from Chicago to New York as well as assisting. This experience helped in my communication skills within the model/photographer relationship and also learning and understanding how the human form, male or female, looks its best. My intent is that my photographs touch hearts, make people laugh, think, dream and even have a good cry.Read More

My life with photography started when I was about three years old. My dad handed me a camera, asked me to take a picture of him and... mom. Like most kids, I believed a camera was a super cool toy. I loved playing with it; pressing the shutter and recording anything that I see through the viewfinder. My dad bought me my first 35mm camera when I was six years old. I loved it so much and wanted to take pictures whenever I could, but my family did not have the extra money to develop the pictures. So my hobby was put on hold, until I started high school and enrolled in a three years program in visual art.
I have learned the basic photography skills, basic photography terminology like F-stop and shutter speed, how to develop pictures and worked in the dark room, with my $135 full manual camera from a local flea market. Fast forward to my junior year in high school, I saved enough money from my part time job and bought my very first Pentax SLR for $800 in 1996.
I never thought of making photography my second career, until I was engaged and started looking for a wedding photographer. I mainly photographed landscapes before but I absolutely loved the idea of capturing the moment of joy in weddings and creating stunning artwork behind the camera.
I specialize in a photojournalistic style with a touch of artistry. My business was officially established in 2007. In that short period of time, my work has been voted as Reader's Choice by Pacific Wedding Magazine in Summer 2009. We are based in San Francisco Bay Area, but will travel anywhere in the universe to capture those special moments.

Several years ago, I begin dabbling in graphic design and photography. I discovered it was incredibly freeing to let my creativity... loosed with a camera. Years later, I went to school for graphic design in England, then later to Amsterdam for a documentary photography school. During this time, I fell in love with this style of photography and realized that the future of my life had taken a turn.
After my time in Europe I came home and began my journey into the world of wedding photojournalism. Now, years later, I have still found there's nothing like telling the story of a wedding day. Its such an incredibly precious moment in time, and I always count it my complete honor and joy to be found along side the bride, groom, family, and friends during the most important day of a couple's life.
Why do I prefer a photojournalistic style over traditional wedding photography? Photojournalistic images are all about capturing the true essence of the day; a story told with pictures. While we still make sure all the formal shots are covered, the overall focus is more on the candid, real moments that count the most.Read More

Formal training at Bowdoin College and Brown University. Brian's development began while working with National Geographic photographer...len Rowell in western Tibet, Nepal and India. The techniques developed were simple: be consistently respectful, unobtrusive and friendly. Brian quietly charmed his way in and out of Chinese jails, through rioting civil servants in Kathmandu and was welcomed to photograph more prohibited elements of real daily life then most ever get access to. Brian learned there that a quick smile, a respectful nod and an unobtrusive approach can create incredible photographic opportunities.
Brian continued to take on various editorial assignments throughout Asia, Central America, Canada and The United States. He has covered everything from sea turtle rescue efforts in Costa Rica to documenting the impacts of logging in British Columbia. His work appears in a variety of publications including books by Random House, as well as regional and national magazines.
But how and why weddings? At Brian's own Hawaiian beachside wedding, he was amazed by how obtrusive his otherwise incredibly talented photographer was and thought that there had to be a better way. It's his incredible creativity, quick sense of quiet humor and commitment to capturing the real essence of a wedding that make his photographs unique and cherished. With studios in San Francisco and Maine, Brian teaches photography workshops throughout the United States and supports destination weddings worldwide.Read More

Nora spent her young years in the Midwest and then moved with her family to Southeast Asia and spent few years in Thailand and Taiwan...he has visited many countries, including New Zealand, Australia, France, England, Japan, Canada and Mexico. As a result, she loves traveling and jumps at every opportunity!
Traveling to many beautiful places piqued her interest in photography which she pursued as a hobby since her teens. Even in college, while she majored in economics, she took classes on the side that indulged her creative side.
After moving to Los Angeles and assisting a well known photographer at a few weddings, she discovered her love of photographing weddings. Nora incorporates “flow posing” to get the most natural poses and expressions possible. She prefers natural lighting as opposed to heavy flash use.
Nora has photographed weddings at many beautiful locations including country clubs and wineries in Santa Barbara, beaches in Malibu, Disneyland, and downtown Chicago. When she’s not photographing weddings, she enjoys snowboarding, scuba diving, reading, watching comedies, and playing with her cat and dog.Read More
