Working in the wedding industry since he was 16 years old, Paulo started from the bottom and worked his way up to owning his own Studio...t only 20 years old Paulo decided to chase his dream of pursuing photography in a more dynamic and expressive market. This decision led him to leave Brazil for Canada and later to the US, where he settled in New York City. With a degree in Digital Design with emphasis in Photography from the Universidade Anhembi Morumbi in Sao Paulo, Brazil, Paulo set out to offer his work to various studios all over the tri-state area. At the age of 21 and only months living in the US he was invited to shoot Gianni Russo and his group in the Rainbow Room – one of the most refined venues in Manhattan.
From that point he focused on networking with the right people from all over the industry and this eventually led him to the success he always dreamed about while in Brazil. Today Paulo is one of the youngest photographers in New York City to reach the “mid to high-end wedding clientele” and have his work published in magazines, both US based and international, including ELLE Magazine in Switzerland, several publications about his success in Brazilian magazines and two US publications.
Working together with a talented group of professionals such as directors of photography, fashion photographers and wedding photographers has allowed Paulo to sharpen his techniques and add to his knowledge surrounding the industry. In addition to this he has also participated in several workshops and courses at the International Center of Photography.
As man of faith Paulo credits his fast rise to success to three things - his hard work, client oriented ethics and most of all to God. God’s favor is always present in his life and for that he is grateful, for all the good things He brought along to lead to that success.Read More

I have been photographing weddings since 2006. I love to capture the emotions and real moments that happen on what is one of the most...portant days of a couple's life. Most of my brides range in age from their early 20's - early 30's, and they share a love for photography. They don't hire me just to take pictures of their wedding; they hire me because photography is important to them and they want images from their wedding day that they will want to look at over and over again.
My love for photography started when I was 10 years old, when I bought my first camera. I shot as many rolls of film as I could afford to buy and develop.
I typically shoot 16-20 weddings a year. I also enjoy shooting lifestyle portraits and senior pictures. I've been married for 5 years, and my wife and I just had our first child. He is a real blessing and joy.Read More

With studios in both New York and Southern California, Ira Lippke shoots extraordinary events in international locations as diverse... a Tuscan castle, a Balinese beachfront, a Canadian mountain lodge, and many of the finest resorts around the world. He is the recipient of one of the Photographer of the Year award from the Wedding Photojournalist Association, First Place in Brides Magazine international Photo Competition and Peter Jennings’ “Person of the Week”, and is featured regularly in such prestigious venues as Elegant Bride, Inside Weddings, The Knot and Wedding Style.
Ira Lippke was born to bohemian parents who raised him and his four younger siblings in a converted school bus in Colorado and Washington State. With forests, orchards and mountains serving as his schoolhouse, Lippke developed an acute visual sensibility that found its perfect outlet in photography, which he immersed himself from the age of 14. Capturing nature’s own grid of tree and horizon, mountain and sky, Lippke took to the seemingly alchemical process of photography and taught himself its complexities through borrowed books and the example of such masters as Henri Cartier-Bresson, Robert Doisneau, Anton Corbijn, and Edward Weston.
Without the intrusion of mainstream culture’s image-saturated mediascape, Lippke was able to develop an ability to frame the everyday in an unusual and distinctly personal way. His early photographic acumen was matched only by his deep appreciation for narrative, instilled at an early age by a passion for reading and his family’s intimate tradition of mealtime storytelling. Living near Seattle in the early-1990s, Lippke was exposed to the hothouse atmosphere of the music and art scene and further honed his talent shooting bands.
Upon relocating to Los Angeles in 1993 to study the Humanities at Biola University, Lippke opened up his own commercial studio in nearby Long Beach, where he began shooting the weddings of musicians, designers, and others who desired a fresh perspective to document their lives. While continuing to evolve his own fine art and international documentary work, over the next 15 years Lippke has become one of the country’s most celebrated wedding photographers, known for his ability to capture the distinct style and emotional ambiance of every event with sophistication and professionalism.
Lippke is an avid collector of contemporary fine-art photography and spends his free time surfing, riding his motorcycle, following independent film and music, reading and engaging family and friends in lively conversation.

I treat a wedding much like an editorial assignment, documenting interactions, details, and nuances that make your wedding day yours. My organic approach captures the day as it unfolds versus manufacturing memories. I record the wedding for people to remember because ultimately, at the end of that whirlwind day, we're left with two shiny rings and a collection of epic photographs.Read More

Having spent a meaningful portion of his life in America, France, Germany, Italy, Singapore, and Turkey, Cengiz has enjoyed a truly international life, with fascinating stories to share. This is perhaps one reason why he enjoys destination weddings. He has been blessed to follow his clients to exciting places around the world, including El Salvador, Jamaica, Turkey, Cyprus, the Philippines, England, and Germany to name a few. In addition, having photographed weddings from most world religions, including Christianity, Islam, Judaism, and Hinduism, he has had the privilege to experience and learn about new cultures, values, traditions, and practices.

I have been photographing weddings for more than 6 years. My style changed dramatically during this time. I was lucky to have a great...acher. My father is a photographer and an artist. He taught me how to do it, pointed to what I was doing wrong and how to make good picture better.
Now, with experience gained through more than 100 weddings I became really intuitive in technical issues, and I can focus on whats essential: emotions.
I educate myself through reading, but then I need to go check how it works for me. I have my masters degree that inspire me, but I am not trying to duplicate their style. I know I can't stop pushing myself to the limits.

I have had a passion for photography ever since I was young. Many years ago, I was asked to photograph a family member's wedding. When...ople saw the images, they were amazed. I was then asked to shoot for a friend, and the requests began to grow. So I left my formal education and job as a scientist to pursue this avenue.
Applying my professional background as a scientist, I believe has been a big advantage as a photographer. I look at my environment, people, and the world much more critically. I have learned in my science training to think several steps ahead and that has been a great asset as a wedding photographer, being able to anticipate.
Having spent time photographing in places as far away as the People's Republic of China, the passion has grown deeper and deeper. I formally started my photography business in 2006 and haven't looked back. Read More

I fell in love with Photography in my early 20’s spending as much time as possible in New York City shooting street photography. One...ing I could always count on during this time was that my images were unadulterated, real and raw.
I learned the technical side of Photography at college in Upstate NY studying Photojournalism. Many an hour, was spent shooting and developing my film in the lab. This gave me a great appreciation for the masters and made me respect film and the art.
Since then I have shot not only weddings, but have been honored to photograph such people as; Richie Havens, Olympia Dukakis, Wynton Marsalis to name a few.
However, nothing compares to a wedding and no one compares to a Couple that have just tied the knot. There’s a special feeling and a special art with weddings that cannot be compared. I take a photojournalistic approach to my wedding photography, capturing the moments as they happen--real emotion, real life.
I do promote, "Green Weddings", and my favorite places to work are at locations where they follow my same philosophy. I currently live in Beacon NY, just north of NYC, with my fiance Barry, who is also is my right hand man with all aspects of the wedding business.
We have two cats, Ansel and Genevieve who are both shelter cats--which is one of my strongest passions. I also played in an ill-fated punk rock band, love cooking and watching wedding shows... so if anyone wants to find me on Facebook and talk about the latest episode of “Who’s Wedding is it anyway”, please do.
Some of my work has been seen in the New York Times and featured in the Wall Street Journal.

Getting the opportunity to take creative pictures and to meet people from different cultures was what lured Kicki in to wedding photography...icki got her interest in photography when she was 15. Her first boyfriend had a SLR and dark room equipment. She got fascinated by watching the images appear on blank pieces of paper in the dark room and also learned the photographic techniques quickly.
Shortly after she picked up on photography she managed to get a job as a assistant at a photo studio in Stockholm. There she learnd about the basics of photography and at the age of 23, Kicki was head of the studio. The wish for a full time job, instead of freelancing, brought her to the department of forensic investigation (called KRIM or CSI in Sweden) where she worked for twelve years with highlighting and photographing evidence for the forensics. Through her job she got a scholarship to an education in Schweiz, where she studied lightning techniques.
The experiences she got from CSI taught her to give even the slightest details attention. The work of highlighting evidence with multiple light sources gave her a very good technical competence and she learned to analyze and read people, which helped her getting close to the people she photographed.
But the need for creative freedom and the opportunity to meet people in happy situations brought Kicki back to wedding photography.
She has been specializing in wedding photography for 20 years, and is fond of the documentary photography where nothing is directed and choreographed. Back in the 80's she moved her wedding photography out of the studio and the stiff images of that time.
Kicki works with top of the line equipment and is constantly evolving her skills, to reach even higher. Her latest work includes photographing the acclaimed NHL-player Mats "Sudden" Sundins wedding.Read More
