Photographing weddings began for me about 15 years ago. I had a passion also for fine art photography and abstract photography which...think helps me view weddings at an alternate angle. I love the creativity, passion, story, and emotion that comes when photographing a wedding.
About six years ago my wife began shooting with me and now as B2 Photography we photograph over 40 weddings a year between the two of us. Most of my events are right in our own "big back yard" of Montana. Since my home is near Glacier National Park and is a place for destination weddings, I don't have to go far most of the time. Together my wife and I have three beautiful children who are our daily inspiration in Lifestyle portraits which is another aspect of our business. They are 11, 9, and 7 and so full of life.
My spark for photography began at a very young age when my father gave me my first camera and taught me to use it during our hunting trips together. Today, I am passing this legacy on to our children who have all embraced being behind the camera and have passion all of their own. Read More

A communicator and artist by nature, Kristine developed both of these attributes by obtaining a BA in English from Carleton College... Northfield, Minnesota, and an MA in Photojournalism from the University of Montana in Missoula.
She has worked as a staff photographer intern at several newspapers, most notably the Seattle Post-Intelligencer in Seattle, WA, which was widely regarded as one of the best photo newspapers in the country before its closing. While working as a staff photojournalist, she had many photos circulate across the globe and several were featured in "best picture" galleries in major newspapers across the country.
Kristine has also learned from and assisted high-end Seattle wedding photographers as a second-shooter, before setting out on her own to run her business in western Montana.
Today she works as a Montana-based photojournalist who applies her training and experience to editorial, wedding, portrait, commercial and event photography, and is happy to travel to provide photographic coverage in both traditional still images as well as occasional multimedia work.
Kristine's work is vibrant, full of life, and, as is the nature of photojournalism, captures the true moments as they happen.Read More
My name is Brandon and I own and am the principal photographer for FotoVitae. I started FotoVitae in 2006 and specialize in wedding...d engagement photography. Personally, I shoot between 25-35 weddings per year. While I'm based outside of Portland, OR, I shoot throughout the Pacific NW and Alaska. Of course, I'm also open to travel for destination weddings around the country and world.
My interest in photography started in high school and I eventually ended up studying photography in Johannesburg, South Africa; focusing on wildlife photography at the time. I've since realized that interacting with people is what makes the job great and I can truly say that I love what I do. Aside from studying photography, I also recieved my bacholors degree in business administration from the University of Oregon. I focused on entrepreneurship which has been an incredible asset as a small business owner.
While I was in Eugene for those 4 years, I met my future wife and we eventually married in August of 2006. Sunshine & I were married at a small cabin we built in Yaak, Montana and that's where we spend most of our free time and where I still take time to capture wildlife.
Last year Sunshine and I started our family and we now have beautiful twin boys, Abdur & Nursun. Fatherhood is a lot of work but an incredible adventure. I should also mention our furry children Kootenai (our cat) & Zulu (our Doberman).

As the fourth largest state of land mass in the United States, Montana offers a diverse landscape for wedding location choices and for wedding photographs. On the western portion of the state lies a mountainous region that makes up a part of the Rocky Mountains, yet more than half the state is lined with prairies that make up the northern portion of the Great Plains. In addition to being a gateway to Yellowstone National Park, the Montana Rockies contain numerous winter and summer resorts, while areas in the eastern portion of the state still preserve the memories and feel of the Wild West. Glacier National Park sits as a gorgeous backdrop to the majestic beauty that Montana offers your wedding party and guests. Your wedding photographer will have no trouble shooting stunning wedding photographs as you stand underneath clouds that seem to lie on top of you in what’s known as “Big Sky” country. With all that and more, Montana offers a great deal of natural beauty and not so complicated living that will make for a peaceful, memorable and joyous wedding celebration.
