Blair is currently an editorial and wedding photographer based in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada working for the countries biggest media outlets...d urban, contemporary couples.
Blair is a graduate of the Photojournalism program at Loyalist College and immediately after graduation began working contract positions at newspapers in Ottawa, Windsor and Chatham, Ontario before receiving staff photographer positions in St. Catharine's and Ottawa, Ontario. Karri North grew up in the rural routes of the Niagara Region, and now resides with her two children in downtown Toronto. As most of...r family still dwells in Niagara, she has the pleasure of being able to work in the country as well as in the city---something that she feels keeps her ideas diverse.
Her interest in photography began as a preteen and has grown into the central passion of her adult life. Karri has taken her camera throughout Canada and the United States, to Asia, India and Europe; and in doing so, has compiled a significant body of travel photography and personal work. She began shooting wedding photographs in 1998, and found that her subjects were highly receptive to her photojournalistic, or ‘candid’ style.
While wedding photography remains her core line of work, Karri will always be exploring alternate avenues in the photographic field, be they personal or collabrative, artistic or commercial. She is ever interested in rising to new challenges to meet her clients standards, and her own personal vision.Read More
Danielle developed her style while working as a co-op student at the Toronto Sun, 10 years ago. She loved the fast-paced, exciting...otography of the news world, but decided that she would much rather photograph people on the happiest day of their lives rather than people at war. She started Rabbat Photography in 2001, while finishing up photography at Sheridan College. She also has a Psychology degree from Guelph, which helps her understand her clients.
Danielle has been happily married since February, 2005 and gave birth to her awesome baby girl on Valentine's Day, 2008. Danielle enjoys improv (she has taken classes at Second City and will continue there), tennis, lindy-hop (swing) dancing and playing with her friends and family.Read More

His grown-up job for the last twenty years has been as a photographer, and his award-winning work has been published in various publications in Canada and internationally. At present, he is Director of Photography at Maclean's Magazine. His approach to shooting weddings is simple: document the joys and emotion of the day with candid unobtrusive photography. ...By the way, great job on the website. I've enjoyed being a part of it and the competitions are a good way of showcasing some really excellent work within a field that is often frowned upon by other photographers and keeps us always looking for something different in each wedding and not just doing the same old thing each time. It's been a good advertising tool for us too; we get quite a few inquiries through the site.
Over the past year of membership I've been pleasantly surprised at the amount of positivity that comes from my association with the WPJA. Not only am I drawing in clients who are truly interested in and appreciative of the art of photography, but I seem to gain both trust and prestige in the eyes of my clients/potential clients when I direct them to the WPJA website to explore the incredible images posted there.
I use the site for my own inspiration all the time.
Thank you WPJA and all you photographers that make it up!!
I love when clients find me through this site, because then I know they value the type of photography I LOVE doing!
I booked one of my highest package of 2008 through this site and they referred me to another 2008 couple who wanted ALL PJ style images. Both couples were super
enthusiastic, which works well with my style.
I love working with couples who totally trust me to do a fantastic job on their wedding so they can enjoy their day, which obviously makes for way better photos (since
they're in the moment).
