I have always love photography, but it was not until I got my first dslr camera that I was able to explore all that a camera had to offer.
I am not from a wealthy family and saving for my first dslr camera was an excitement in my life. I still remember those days where i used to serve as a computer technician, freelance web designer, cashier and even waiter just to save and buy my first camera. I took hundreds and thousands of pictures and just really basked in the fun of it all. I earned my Electro Optical Laser Engineering degree from National Chiao Tung University, which in there I learned about color engineering and enables me to work great with managing color and printing pictures.
I enjoyed the many compliments I received on my pictures, but had not thought about sharing this passion and talent beyond my families and friends. I just got lucky. How many people get to actually say they love what they do? I am among those few that truly enjoy their job. I am constantly trying to be more creative and I appreciate it when my clients can trust me enough to do so. I enjoy the every moments and bits of picture sessions.

I was born in Surabaya, 1977. My father is a collector of cameras, antique cameras. I guess my exposure to photography really started... a very young age. I started learning and dealing with camera was with Nikon FM3. My first Digital SLR camera was Nikon D100 which is now converted to an Infra-Red (IR) only camera. I love working with passionate people, positive energy and I like to surround myself with energetic and happy people.
I graduated from the University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia. Got my Masters of Commerce and Technology Management enables me to work with people and learn a great deal of management and business. Photography is my main hobby and I couldn't resist to go anywhere without my camera. I took part-time and freelance work as a photographer's assistant in Australia and have worked with wonderful photographers ranging from landscape, portrait, commercial and still life photography businesses.
I am a father to my 2 kids, Farrel and Megan, and am married to my beautiful wife, Lisa who is now one of the Managing Directors of our own studio, Portrait Studio. Me and my business partner, Leo CA, founded Portrait Studio in 2005 and has now grown to one of the top lists of Wedding Photographers in Indonesia. My works have been published in Bazaar Wedding and Cosmopolitan Bride in Indonesia.
