I am a staff photojournalist at the Atlanta Journal-Constitution in Atlanta, Georgia. Inspired by the work of National Geographic photographers,...came to the United States from Korea to study photography. I attended Rochester Institute of Technology in New York. While there, I won many awards, including the prestigious Kodak Scholarship Award. After graduating with a B.F.A. from R.I.T., I went on to study Photojournalism in graduate school at Ohio University. Photojournalism proved to be a perfect fit for me.
I won many awards: third place National Geographic Internship program, College Photographer of Year, Atlanta Photojournalism award for Sports Photo Story category, and many others. In 2003, I was selected from hundreds of applicants to intern as a photographer at the Washington Post and went on to work for the paper as a contract photographer after my internship. That is how I started. I feel very lucky to have found a career that I am passionate about and find so fulfilling.Read More

I'm Michelle McKee & I'm originally from Wisconsin. I purchased my first professional camera when I was 13 years old, which was an...ympus OM2 from my old friend & mentor Dennis Schwartz. I moved to the Atlanta area in 2004 and a year or two after that started my business. I love photographing weddings. For years I primarily photographed scenery & nature, were I have won a few awards. At weddings, I capture the celebration and the emotions as they happen.

Dan started his photography career at the age of 8 encouraged by his mother's instructions on the workings of the Kodak Brownie II...mera. He spent the whole afternoon lying on the grass in the late California summer sun taking pictures of his GI Joe figurines in full battle regalia. Little did he know his love of GI Joe was to be replaced with a love of photography. His formative years are now more affectionately referred to as the rangefinder, Polaroid and instamatic years. He majored in journalism in college, beginning his SLR years.
He now has over 20 years experience in newspapers. He swore he would never shoot weddings but finally caved under the pressure of friends and has now shot more than 323 weddings in the past 10 years. He has won numerous local, national and international awards. While lying in the grass at a recent wedding capturing the life-changing event before his eyes, he reminisced about an earlier time when he naively discovered his own lifetime passion. Nobody knows whatever happened to the GI Joe Brigade but Dan still has those original negatives and his mom just gave him that original Brownie II!Read More
