N’neka (pronounced In-nee-ka) Scruggs took the long road to become a photographer. Although she is an Air Force veteran and mechanical...gineer by trade, her passion as always been photographing people. After enrolling in photography as a 9th grade elective, she was hooked. She would spend Saturday afternoons in public places shooting people as they went about their day.
While stationed in Los Angeles, CA, N’neka had the opportunity to capture the grandeur of a number of high profile events. Some of the more notable of which include the Soul Train Music Awards, the Hollywood Christmas Parade, the Jon B & Friends Tsunami Benefit Concert, and the Southern Christian Leadership Coalition’s Martin Luther King Jr. Awards Banquet.

Steve Barnhart began a life behind a camera, immersed in photography at the age of 14 during a simple high school photography course...th a truly remarkable teacher. Steve's work was published in several newspapers and magazines, and he became the school's photographer for all events and publications. He photographed his first solo wedding at the age of 16 after working summers for a local traditional wedding and portrait photographer. Dan started his photography career at the age of eight, encouraged by his mother's instructions on the workings of the Kodak Brownie... camera. I went down to Florida this past weekend to shoot a wedding I booked over the phone within 24 hours of the bride contacting me. She had found me thru the WPJA and declaired "I knew I could have gone with someone less expensive locally, but I knew I wanted quality, so I looked on the WPJA." It turned out great - thank you again for this wonderful organization and even more so for the means to connect with such a wonderful and talented group of photographers !!
