THINK TANK TESTIMONIALS FROM WPJA MEMBERSI abuse camera bags. I always have and will continue to do so. I'm not going to change, so, I need tough camera bag which can handle me and my gear. When I read Think Tank was created by fellow photojournalist I knew my bi-annual bag buying days were over. This bag is very well constructed and contains many accessible compartments for a variety of uses. It is also extremely comfortable and most importantly, takes abuse very well. It's a tough world out there and I'm glad my gear is protected now by Think Tank. The strap on the speed freak bag is very comfortable. It's a very sturdy bag without being too bulky, and it's stylish for a camera bag. My favorite feature is the Pixel Pocket Rocket card wallet - the fact that it clips to the bag itself is a great added security, and new cards are always easily accessible. Thanks a bunch! I love this bag. It has replaced my Crumpler for wedding duty. I use two cameras and carry the extra lenses inside of it (3). I’ve added on one of the quick change lens bags to it as well so I can carry 4 total. I wear the waist strap and the shoulder strap, and it really keeps the pressure of any given point on my body. The attention to detail and quality on these bags is great. I have the Airport Security International as well and love it also. I won’t be buying another bag unless it’s made by ThinkTank. Thanks a lot for the prize, I’m getting a lot of use out of it. i gotta tell ya…i was pretty happy to get that bag…thank you!!! it was the Think Tank Photo Speed Freak Camera Bag/Pack that i received for the contest, and actually when i first saw it i was a little skeptical because its not that big…and i try to keep all of my equipment in just 2 large bags. but honestly, ive found many uses for it and since ive gotten it ive used it at every wedding. for one, its really sturdy and seems to be extremely shockproof, as well as easy to carry, which is something i definitely need because im just really hard on my equipment and always drop stuff:-). the bag couldnt be more perfect to put my whole video light set up including the bulky battery pack. ive also used it a bunch of times when doing the couple portraits…it easily fits a couple 580's, my transmitter to set the flashes off, a couple lenses…and then of course i have my cameras around my neck with lenses. everything i need and with out a bulky backpack to lug around…i think my big bags are gonna break my back sometime:-) Thanks again for such a cool prize. i have my finger crossed to win again and get something sweet from think tank!! cheers Please give a big thank you to the folks at Think Tank for their generosity in being a WPJA sponsor. Materials and construction: Top notch. Bomber. Will last a very long time with much abuse. Not afraid to take it wherever--anywhere. Waist Belt: It's waistbelt rides with great comfort. It is not a thick and bulky belt, rather a slim belt with just enough padding to conform around hips comfortably. Access to Innards: The center zipper really allows this bag its name--it really does give speedy access to my camera. However, I cannot imagine having to pull a Pro 35mm body with a vertical grip though this slit (it might work, but my little 5D seems to squeeze though with just enough space). The bomber circular zipper that allowed the entire lid to be flipped over moves fast, gets out of the way and stays out of the way. The inside velcro system works very well and just like any other brand. Pockets: The front two pockets are compartmentalized enough, but not too much. It was nice that this bag came with a pixel pocket rocket, but not having one wouldn't have kept me from buying the pack. The side pockets were ideal for shoving a very lightweight rain jacket/wind breaker or misc. small items like food bars, etc. There are attachment loops on the front hip pads which I have not yet used. I really like the creativity regarding the secret pocket in the lumbar area too. Shoulder Strap: Made of bomber materials but a bit heavy--always the tradeoff! Buckles: Think Tank uses tri-glides a lot on this pack. I am not a fan of these buckles as they don't live up to the speedy genre when needing to loosen or tighten waistbelts, etc. I would rather have the normal sych type buckles with bar-tacked webbing to prevent their loss. Other perceived uses: This bag would be an incredible asset to light and fast travelers, day hikers, and photographers who only need one body and shorter (physical length) lenses. It really moves well with your body so long as you are not running at full speed. Thank you for this opportunity. |
