THE NEW WPJA MEMBER PROFILE FEATURE IS HERE!
The WPJA is proud to announce our redesigned state/regional listing pages as well as the launch of the new Member Profile sections.
There are a number of new site additions and features that we encourage our members to take advantage of.
Customize Your Color Palette
The new Member Profile section provides WPJA members with creative control in presenting their profiles. With three levels of color customization (Default, Simple, and Advanced), members now have the
option to maintain consistency between their WPJA Member Profile and their own website or Member Portrait.
Biography and Info
Upon landing in this section, potential clients are presented with an optional member portrait and biography. Other information presented here includes the photographer's location, rates, website
address with link and, when applicable, their availability calendar, additional listings and number of contest winning photos.
Upload Your Portrait
For the WPJA Member Portraits, we're looking for images that show what our members look like. Photos of shoes, cakes, rings and business logos are not acceptable. Also, please do not upload images of
you on your own wedding day. This would likely be perceived by the public as an image you created for a client.
Award-Winning Photo Gallery
The Photos tab in the Member Profile section displays award-winning photos that have placed 1st through 20th in a WPJA contest. These images will cycle through an auto slideshow if left untouched, but
can also be viewed manually via thumbnails or navigation arrows.
NOTE: Please let us know if an image is either missing from your gallery or is improperly labeled. We are still in a transition period between the old PIX pages and the new Member
Profile Photo Gallery.
Contest Achievement Recognition
All award-winning images which placed 1st through 20th in any past WPJA contest will be recognized in this achievement section. Beginning with the most recent contest, awards will be organized by
quarter, and will display ranking and contest category.
Update Your Own Rates
You are now able to make changes to your rates as often as you'd like.
Experiment With Your Extra Regions, States And Countries
If you'd like to try different marketing strategies in other areas, you can now make changes to your additional listings anytime you wish. Try a weekly or monthly campaign with new areas altogether!
Destination Weddings - Freedom On The Fly
You now have freedom to control your list of Destination Wedding locations to reflect the different areas you're willing to travel. Update them seasonally or every other day.
Don't Forget About Your Online Availability Calendar
Your personal WPJA availability calendar may be activated or updated simply by clicking on the Manage Calendar link in the left navigation.
To ensure that potential clients can learn about your availability as easily as they would access the availability information of other WPJA members, we encourage everyone to take advantage of this
feature. Once you activate the calendar, an icon will appear next to your listing(s) on the site.
