Looks like a mosh pit at a fraternity party, or maybe it's the bachelor party as the groom is carried aloft on the arms of his friends. Classic peak action, composed perfectly. Not much needs to be said about the spontaneity of this moment. With everyone laughing and smiling, the groom obviously in a state of euphoria... it's peak action at its best.
This one is all about the faces and body language. A great moment that just says “loudâ€. Nice sense of movement and good body language- you can actually see how loud it is in there. The light, the smoke and the movement add to a great moment with bride and groom reacting spontaneously. Even if you weren't invited to the wedding, you can feel its "fireworks."
Bride returns from the surf with mom and it looks like the photographer waded into the water action. Odd, unusual, funny, eye catching and that's why it's in here. Beautiful picture in unusual setting- nice facial expression.
Five leap in this set up but it does Phillipe Halsman proud. These guys are having way too much fun. A wonderful moment even if it might have begun with a set up situation. The excitement that shows on each face can never be created, it's natural, and the photographer made a good moment a lot better by capturing it . . .
Possibly one of the best bouquet-toss photos I've seen. The face and body language of the girl in front makes the moment. Some luck had to be involved, but nonetheless, well executed. I might have cropped a bit tighter, but that doesn't really hurt much.
