Who are they flashing? The wedding party, people on the parking lot? Doesn't matter. It's fun, joyous? A surprise. This photo is funny, and spontaneous and candid and provocative and just great. This is the sort of moment that makes the PJ style of wedding photography great. Funny and unexpected situation.

It's role reversal. Nice light. And it's both high fashion and low fashion at the same time. I loved the mood and personality- reminds me of a classic Time-Life photograph.

This image is just a delight for the motion and sense of frenetic energy and joy. Of course it's a cliché, how many photos from wedding aren't, but the moment is right, the faces are great, the use of slow shutter speed works to clean-up the background while the faces and hands and arms remain clear and understandable. Great movement and energy- nice expression on bride's face.

This could have been a “detail†photo, but holds-up in this category as well. I love the composition, the tones, and the use of light. It says, “getting ready†without being too cliché.

This is such a beautifully quiet, tender moment... the bride sneaking a peek into the bridesmaids' room. It's subtle, elegant, well-composed and just plain wonderful.

And speaking of composed, the business of makeup can be as serious as it gets pre-ceremony. With all hands on the bride, the gravity of the moment is reflected on the faces of the makeup team while mom's duty is to ensure nothing falls on the gown. A very very great moment.

The photographer captured an incredibly strong moment that's made even better with wonderful lighting and soft colors. It's beautiful, it's telling, and it's a grabber.

It's a swirl of arms and cloth as the bride is the center of the vortex of action as she's spun into her dress by attendants. Her spontaneous, joyous laugh is peak and hard not to share.

This photo might be too good to be candid. Or, it's just too good.
