This photograph stood out in the category with the fewest amount of entries. It was a different idea that a standard portrait of the a line of people. The subjects are spaced in such a way to lead your eye around the frame in a pleasing manner. Looks like a scene from, “The Sound of Music.†This image has a nice feel with the movement of the girls. The photographer was able to capture their joy.

This image stood out from the start. The lighting is very well done and is an example of a great moment is in an arranged situation. This is a timeless looking image that is stunning. Nice light, well-composed moment.

It is never easy doing a large family portrait of this magnitude, but the photograph found a great way to pull it off. The staircase works and the color and lighting also helps. Good use of stairs.
