The body language, facial expressions, and choice of using black and white makes this a fun image. The receding background of the street creates a timeless feeling. The expression on the bride's face is such a great contrast with the gloomy weather. A unique, beautifully photographed moment under not-so-beautiful conditions. The foot of the bride was inadvertently cropped off an otherwise fine photograph. It has a real Americana feeling - empty brick streets, attentive bridesmaids and the flag flapping in the breeze balancing the frame. Well done.

Flawless image. It rose far above the rest of the entries. A wonderful moment; with great composition and use of light. An instant winner from the first look. This image had a terrific quiet mood. The photographer made a nice choice of being behind the couple. The composition works even though the subjects are more or less centered. Technical flaws of the photographed are transcended by a sensitively captured quiet moment.

A thinking photographer making use of a reflective surface to add another dynamic to the photograph, which gives the image a well-balanced feeling. Fresh angle of the commonplace.

Good choice to keep the flash off and let the natural light work it's wonders. The man in the background's small figure and adjustment of the bride's dress provide a touching complement to the stoic body language of the bride.

A color photograph that had nice color and symmetrical expressions on the two kids faces.

This image was chosen because of the different angle and nice color. The composition however, could have been improved by straightening the lines in the camera, and also by perhaps waiting for a more compelling moment on stage.

A nice expressive moment that was well composed, but could have benefited from a little less depth of field.
