This gorgeous first place winning photo is utterly beautiful. It has gorgeous light, so gorgeous it becomes the photo's entire raison d'Ãªtre. It has a dreamy, lyrical effect. The quality of light is both soft and dramatic.

The second place photo was a sweet lovely moment. The photo is helped by beautiful doorway light. The use of black space gives it a painterly feel.
