A fun picture on what looks like a warm evening and the photographer was ready to make the picture. The old photographer's term “F 8 and be there” still holds true. The photographer was there to make the picture.
The movement and expression makes me feel like I'm there. Her expression, the flowing veil and the woman walking by putting her hand up captures the movement and spontaneity of the moment.
This photograph probably could win a prize in other contests. The more I look at this picture, the more I like it. The photographer should enter this one in the PHOTO DISTRICT NEWS contest as a feature picture.
An amazing expression captured on the bride. Her look just says it all. All the elements work to round out the image.
I love this moment as the bride walks down the isle with her son and father. It's such a sweet scene as her son reaches across himself to cover his mother with the umbrella. It's a telling image of the bond between this mother and son.
Shot with a Canon 1D Mark IV, 50mm f/1.2 lens, 200 @ f/3.5 ISO 400
