Everything in this image works really well. I love how it is framed cutting off the boy.
This has an intimacy, because of the physical proximity of the photographer, that makes the viewer feel like they are one of the people dressing the kids and that is why it works so well.

This photo is so much fun! Great faces, arms reaching out and lots going on without getting cluttered. The colors work really well too with the blue bra standing out.

This is a beautiful photo of an idyllic scene, a moment between a woman and child as they look into a mirror, a timeless icon of health and beauty. It's also an idyllic scene, the backdrop of flowing curtains paired with the curves of the furniture that contribute to (perhaps even suggest) the right composition.

This is a great reaction to what was very likely a brief moment. The graphics of the curved pearl string play off the various out of focus elements in the background including the other white tones in the upper right.
I like that we cannot clearly see the woman in the background. She blends into the shadows, offset by those arms coming out from around her. Furthermore, a pearl necklace is strongly associated with weddings, thus by diminishing facial details it obtains a universal appeal.

Great moment showing the tedious side of preparations. Sweet to see the boy resting his head on the man.
It is both a great moment and also graphically well composed with the man's head nicely against the white and the woman is so far hunched over that her back is curving notably. The kid's body language, both the leaning in and his hands all add to the story. I do wonder about cropping out the right 25%.

This is an irresistible image. The juxtaposition of lace with (more) lace is as whimsical as the lighting that envelopes it.

This one is a great story teller with the two girls at different places in their lives connecting and sharing a common goal. What a nice moment with a great use of a long lense. This would not have worked with a wide angle lens since the background would likely get cluttered. I do wonder about getting a bit closer to lose the mirror in the lower left and the hot spot in the upper right.

This is a strong image mostly due to the moment. But it's also an image that works because of its composition and high-key lighting that help emphasis the singularity of the moment.

You can feel the tension in this image. Stressful. It is like looking in on two different worlds.

Great seeing and use of color on the part of the photographer. A classic example of an ordinary situation made extraordinary by moving around, finding the right angle and using the mixed light qualities.
