Very strong image and interesting composition. Great tonality.
Creative use of wide angle and reflection brings all the elements together to result in a beautifully layered image.

Nice moment of the bride taking a deep breath before getting married.

This set of photos was VERY hard to rank from 1st to 5th (and, for that matter, from 6th to 10th, too), because the photos were so different and so very, very well done. This image is such a perfect photographic response to this setting. The sparse gathering in a stark setting with almost gothic weather overhead. Also, the moment is great, with each person in a perfect place. Very well done. Takes me right to the scene. I think I can hear the voices just above the sound of the wind . . .

Composition, lighting and camera angle all work in this image. A nicely documented moment.

5th Place: Paul Rogers from Hertfordshire, EnglandJudges Comments
This seemingly routine scene is elevated because the photographer found a sweet moment in it. That moment captures the whole point of a wedding, during a touching, unexpected pause in the midst of a pretty mundane event in the ceremony. Well seen.

6th Place: Rino Cordella from Lecce, ItalyJudges Comments
Very dramatic lighting.
Like some of my other selections in this category, this one is a beautiful photographic response to a place. The event is almost secondary to the mood created by the light. Nicely seen.

The expression on the groom's face is priceless and is such a contrast to what the bride is doing.

This is a well organized frame, elevated by the look on the bride

9th Place: Christian Fossati from Pescara, ItalyJudges Comments
Very nice intimate moment. The texture of the man’s hair brings a lot of interest.
An intimate moment between the bride and groom nicely captured without feeling the photographers presence.
