Pure emotion...the mouth open shot, pushing the envelope, getting real close, grab shot, moment, energy, emotion and pure excitement, but I kind of wish the second woman's mouth wasn't blocked by the head of the boy. This shot is fun. and I loved it because it pushed the envelope and tried to be very honest and open about how people get down at these things...almost pretense in this picture. A photographer just responding to the situation. Great. This image is just full of excellent qualities. The selective focus, foreground elements, slow shutter speed, and sidelight all help to make this moment a wonderful photograph.

Emotions run in all directions at weddings. It's important to be open and tell the full story of any event. I think you did well in capturing the girl's expression while using a sophisticated composition.

In this category, this image jumped out as a clear winner for me. Seeing light is the key to making great photographs, and combining that with beautiful moments is the goal, and this achieves that extremely well.

The composition of the family- all in line- and the family portrait in the background helps establish history and reflection for this important event.

Body language and intimacy add to the poignancy of a single tear streaming down the face. A quiet, unguarded moment preserved in a powerful photograph that is not easy to capture in such a tender way

I am always looking for honesty in photographs. This hug feels genuine and real and the expression on her face is timeless.

Sweet scene that shares the intensity of the happiness being shared among family and friends. Moment illustrates how much it means to share the wedding day with those closest to us.

This image is all about pure emotion, but the combination of shutter speed and strobe help the subject jump out of the frame. Understanding how to properly balance shutter speed and strobe power with ambient light is key in isolating your subjects and emphasizing their action

I'm not sure what is happening in this photograph. Sometimes it is better to leave the viewer with questions. I certainly looked at it a long time. It captured my attention.

The joy in this groom's face is unmistakable, and the framing helps drive it home. There is just enough of the environment left in the frame to suggest the location, but otherwise the elements are all kept to a minimum.

I just like this picture. It has attitude and also reminds me of the nouveau riche wannabe show of Lifeestyles of the Rich and Famous. So much of this wedding stuff is for show and to show everyone how much we have and such a grand production and this picture captures that for me. I love her expression also.

The delight in the faces of the older couple is radiant, and effectively celebrates the feeling that love can and will endure for a lifetime. A great addition to the wedding/family album.

Another tender, intimate situation where body language is everything. Both subjects are completely lost in the beautiful moment.

I love the background and the moment of the veil going up and the woman's expression. Good stuff..simple...not so much to say, just a good moment.
