Body language, expression, it’s all there -- this young lady looks so grown up and completely in her element on the dance floor.

My guess is that the two young ladies at right could have won top awards with their "photo," that is, of course, if only our cameras worked just like theirs. No doubt in their image, the bride was set upon a mighty stallion in a fairy tale landscape of lollipops and gum drops. But, then again, maybe the difference in our camera and theirs isn't as far removed as it would seem - after all, creativity is a land beyond, viewed through magic boxes we call cameras.

All the world is a stage, and we are but…playing in it at a wedding that might have been really boring, if not for that point-and-shoot camera we snagged from our parents. One day this young photographer might aspire to capture moments as equally composed and delightful as this.

There is such a nice foreground/background dual moment going on in this shot, telling two different stories in the same frame.

Everyone knows the meaning of this chin-grasp. It is used mostly by older siblings or parents, and it means, "Stop that! Pay attention!" When I first looked at this photo, it spoke to me as clearly as the grasp itself with one very important difference…this time I was smiling. This is a lovely moment - where the photographer and a camera were obviously paying attention.

Nicely framed on the girl with the background out of focus instantly showing what is going on.

I saw the boy making faces at the three girls inside the window just a moment before so I began walking over to get the square on shot of the window... I was just in time to get this shot, I love the stance of the boy.
