This has a carefree feeling, with just enough information to make it fun, nicely composed and inviting.

A detail photo has an ability to isolate a solitary element and retain the narrative. Here, the wisp of a veil is contrasted against the starkness of the brick and steel of the city. But, a lone cloud mimics its free-flowing shape. A wedding is a contrast, unlike any other day, yet always similar in hope to what lies beyond.

Great detail with the hand in focus and the vertical lines of the piano going out of focus.

Smartly shot framing the women without showing their faces. The colors work well too.

The photo frame stands out well against the white of the bride's dress and the dark and out of focus areas along the side of the frame draws me in to the image.

This photo is as snappy, bright and sexy as the scene itself. More importantly, it's an example of how color combined with good framing can direct our eyes. The black clothing on each side of the image are more than they appear. They serve as frames for those party girl pumps. You'd think those heels would be enough by themselves but in the world of visual communication they'd be lost without that sensible black attire.

With a whirl and a twirl, the bride vanishes beneath the lined fabric of her gown, becoming in this instant the prized pearl in a sea of less formal dress. Yet it is the finely layered contrast, framed by the outstretched arms of attendees, that grant this photo the prize.
