Creativity and simplicity are the key elements to this photograph. The addition of the bouquet and use of black and white emphasize the simplicity of the rings.
Another creative interpretation of the ring image.,

Very creative approach and well executed. The lighting is very nice and the bubbles on the black background add accent to the rings.

3rd Place: Justin Graddy from Minnesota, United StatesJudges Comments
This was the most creative of the bunch, using the scrabble game in addition to the rings.

This was a tough category but favor was given to any image that could create an image of rings in a way that had the "flavor" of a moment. This image pulled it together with the hands of the bride holding a heart shaped dish that mirrors the similar shape of her dress and the form of her hands. The image is simple like the rings she holds.

The monotone colors in this photograph are highlighted by the red hearts and keep the message very artistic but simple like the rings in the box.

I love the color and reflections created in the ice. The blob of ice on the right side takes the eye away from the rings. The image would have placed higher if the ice on the left wasn't so dominant.
Color and rushing water give these rings a lot of energy. Love the slow shutter speed of motion as the water is juxtaposed with the simplistic rings.
There are many reasons to like this image beyond the colors, composition and lighting but the water "bubble" formed by water also mimics the shape of the small round diamond, not to mention the obvious shape of rings. But, perhaps the most effective element here is how the stream forms numerous leading lines into the subject.

The richness of the color and the action of the bird focuses our attention of the subject, the rings. It's a beautiful image that also rises above many others for its creative uniqueness.

It’s always nice to have a personal touch so I think the hand written note adds a nice element to this elegant ring and the use of shallow depth the field gives a surreal feeling to the image.
More literal but it is well done, and the handwritten note adds to the intimacy.

Heart shadows are made as rings stand on edge creating a wonderful detail of not just the rings but of the program of the wedding. A golden light gives warmth and love to the image.

I love the reflection of the word marriage in the ring. Again clean and simple. Well done.

I liked this concept a lot and the chain really helps draw the eye to the center of attention. Nice Job.

The color and patterns work well here.

What a deliciously creative approach to a ring photo. The flames were the perfect form of line, shape and light to match the distinctive font of the ring's inscription. It's a beautiful image.

The numerous "discs" surrounding the subject replicate the shape of the diamond and its facets. Furthermore the light and reflections lead us in a circular fashion to the theme of the image.
