Creative approach to the typical bridal party image. The radical crop on the taxi works and helps create some artistic tension.

One of the toughest things to do well, the group portrait, done in easy, candid style with the help of a hip young guest. Nice way to tackle it!

Such a simple, clean yet wonderful picture. The composition focuses all eyes on that amazing expression and the colors are and framing are spot on. A real treat.

A beautiful portrait of the bride and bridesmaids. Most back-lit situations do not work this well, but enough saturation on the subjects make it work. The lens flare actually helps to frame them. Wonderful expressions.

Mamiya C330 65mm f3.5 Sekor Blue Dot lens, on x-processed Fujichrome 64T At this point in the wedding we happened to be shooting separately without the aid of the other. Though we usually do confer with one another on how we will approach much of what we shoot, on this particular occasion we hadn't even discussed shooting this spot. I shot the Bridesmaids while Brian was getting some details. Then we separated again an hour later he shot the Groomsmen while I was with the girls getting ready. Apparently we had the exact same idea! Needless to say, I was a bit confused when we processed the film. We even captured identical circular lens flares with our TLRs!

Has nostalgic mood and atmosphere.

The photographer was looking for another photo, but got a great reaction after a groomsman fell to the turf. Good reaction by the photographer to capture guys laughing at someone's slip.

A somewhat typical portrait, we've seen many variations on this but the photographer really got great expressions out of everyone and nailed the exact perfect moment. I'm sure they all loved that picture.

This image is all about body language and how it can tell a story without seeing a face. This image is dripping with anticipation, yet it is shot from behind. Bravo.
