Definitely one of the more creative pictures, but there is still a reaction and a little story being played out.
Weddings are full of just about every emotion in the spectrum, but when a fun moment can be captured like this it's a bonus. All of the elements needed are present in this memorable image.

Angelic light with just the right expression from the groom. The composition is balanced without being too formal.
There is something about the simplicity of this photograph that appeals to me. A quiet photograph. Nicely done with the backlight.

This is a beautiful wedding photograph that relies heavily on it's framing to simplify the moment only to the important elements. The image is easily understood, and the eye goes immediately where the photographer wants it to.
Terrific framing and control of exposure.

I love that the photographer took a step back and included the whole scene, creating a frame within the frame.

Sweet. Good angle and good use of the chairs drawing us in.

One of those off moments, we don’t expect to see from a wedding. Nice idea.

Terrific job creating an intimate moment within a busy scene. The foreground highlights took away from the point of focus.

This image works because the photographer was observant and able to look beyond their subjects, literally and figuratively. This is a good lesson in being aware of the surroundings, and looking beyond the edges of your frame for moments like this.

More of a traditional wedding moment, but I liked the edges of the frame.

Members of the wedding party were walking from the ceremony to the front of the home for group photos. I loved the light and the repetition of the lines in the railings in the background, as well as the repetition of people on different planes in the photograph.
