Weddings are full of just about every emotion in the spectrum, but when a fun moment can be captured like this it's a bonus. All of the elements needed are present in this memorable image.

This image works because the photographer was observant and able to look beyond their subjects, literally and figuratively. This is a good lesson in being aware of the surroundings, and looking beyond the edges of your frame for moments like this.

Members of the wedding party were walking from the ceremony to the front of the home for group photos. I loved the light and the repetition of the lines in the railings in the background, as well as the repetition of people on different planes in the photograph.
