Great gesture and good light and very strong composition. I love the crop on the man and the photographer's point of view.
LOVED this photo - truly in the photojournalistic style. It's so clean and well composed and such an unusual moment (who brings one of those to a wedding?).
A beautiful picture with great light and composition that stood out.

Great energy and light.
What a great sense of energy the photographer has captured here. Extra wide lenses can be difficult to work with and can overdo it, but here it seems appropriate to the subject. This is a high-energy singer – contrasted with a seemingly sedate band. The lens seems to put him at the forefront and add to the energy and seems to pull him out from the rest of the group. It grabbed my attention right away.

Just a sweet, tender moment of discovery nicely handled.
The photographer did a nice job of finding one of those out of the spotlight moments that suggests intimacy, and the photographer is invisible. Very tender.

When I saw the requirements for this category I was hoping to see some strong graphic images and not the run of the mill band shot. This one is a clear standout. The composition of the pipes and the framing of the singer help create a really dynamic image. Well done.

Color enhances the mood in this one -- it’s got a lot of energy.

The two girls and three guys behind them are great. Good solid lighting. The only thing that bothers me and keeps this image from being stronger is the woman on the far left.

Great documentary feel to it - made me feel like I was on the streets of New Orleans.

A nice decision by the photographer to work with the available light. The shadows created by the musician’s hat help to create the mood of a jazz club.

Great angle and the longer lens help to make this a strong image.

The bride has her time onstage beautifully captured -- the subtle colors complete the composition too.

Nicely composed with the microphone in front of the singer's face and also has a great color palate.

Good job by the photographer to identify an interesting subject and then to capture that subject during a good moment between his music and the people in the background. I get a real sense of enjoyment.
