Emotion

Every parent can relate to this moment. The look on faces of the couple is just precious.
Emotion is something to be expected at one of life's greater moments, so I wasn't so surprised to see so many great photos. I was surprised, however, at the range of emotions. Of course we have the happy ones, but there were a few surprises - like this photo of the bride and groom's shock at seeing a very young girl tiring of her dress and disrobing. Great catch!

This image is such a tender moment between a woman and a young girl.
This is just a classic moment between these two. Besides capturing the timeless expression on the face and the tender hand on the head, the photographer has made a beautiful and poetic photograph – the shapes of the arms, the tilt of the head and the hair combined with the whiteness of the gowns and the soft light is just beautiful.

There’s just a quiet beauty to this -- it’s an intimate moment that’s timed just right.
The photographer is absolutely invisible in this intimate setting and moment. Beautiful use of light and composition.

There’s a lot going on here to like, the teary-eyed bride, the affectionate kiss from the groom. You just know someone special is saying something special. It tells a great story.

A truly beautiful special moment captured without the subject being aware of the camera. Very well done.

Great combination of elation and perhaps fear of being dropped?
What a great shot of key moment in the proceedings, lots of fun going on there captured perfectly.

It’s all about the moment, and my guess is that it’s everyone’s dream to have this emotion upon marrying. The photographer has also captured or created nice light, and the flying confetti adds to the moment.

Strong image with emotion well captured without the intrusion of the photographer. Framing and composition also work well here.

The photographer has an interesting perspective on this moment of joy. Nice composition, I like the inclusion of the woman descending the stairs behind the bride and the clean background. Great expression.

This is a touching moment made more so by the expression on the face, the placement of the hand and fingers on the head and the centering of the subjects surrounded by nice light.

The bride is looking at a photo album with her friends. I took my time to get a good angle, with some people in the foreground and in the backround, and then took the shot as the bride looked as happy as possible. Surrounded by her best friends, this photo truly captures the joy of life.
