Absolutely fantastic moment from the right angle. Clean simple and very nice.
Love the timing of this and the angle it was shot from, it tells a great story and is a clean read.

The composition is excellent, but the faces and the expression on the groom and best man really say a lot. Well done.

This image had a great face and I loved that what appears to be a war veteran goofing with a flower in his mouth - a great contrast of elements.

The little boy stepping across the gown is a precious and humorous moment and again the photographer was at the perfect angle to capture the spontaneity of the event.

Simply beautiful to look at.

8th Place: Jacques Mateos from Ile-de-france, FranceJudges Comments
This photograph asks a lot of questions because of the juxtaposition of people and the expressions on the faces. The man on the right with a seemingly saddened facial expression and clenched fists has his own story. Very interesting and the strong color of the walls accentuates the drama.

A fun moment from the ceremony nicely captured and the pastor’s reaction completes the shot.

Color, timing and expression all come together is this picture -- it’s got a lot of feeling.

This one nailed the windy moment with good expression on the bride and the child.

Another ceremony image with a lot of humor. I love the composition with the heads of the bride and groom cropped out as they both reach for folks in the crowd. The couple holding hands is also a nice touch.

Just a lovely photograph contrasting the playful nature of children and the military guard (although they too look pretty relaxed). A nice moment of skipping and beautiful expression on the lead girl’s face.

Here’s another of those enigmatic images that prompts questions and therefore interest. Is the bride hugging her father? Nice job by the photographer of capturing two different yet connected moments.
