I love this image. It surprises me which is always nice. I love his eyebrows which are raised in excitement and it's easy to read such small detail because this image is excuted that well. Very strong moment and great seeing in advance to position yourself to capture the moment.
Just that little, impish peak around the doorway is all this photo needs. The photographer had to be pretty quick to capture this moment of joyous anticipation.
I like complex images that have a lot going on (layers), and this is full of it. I can look at this image a long time, there's a lot going on, and yet the photographer pulled it off without a cluttered feel, which isn't easy. Nice, peak moment and great expressions all around.
Priceless expressions from all the women as they react to the one that caught the bouquet.
There's pure joy in this photograph. It's a clean, easy to read shot that has immediate impact, revealed through their body language. It's a simple, yet, effective image that evokes a higher emotional state than the others for me.
A dreamy, long lens image that makes one think they are in a dream. These two obviously are, and the outstretched arms are like one big smile ready to embrace the groom.
Assuming this is father and daughter, what a touching, sweet moment. The expression on the man’s face is priceless and the gentle, little touch of the hands, as if they are letting go, makes the image that much stronger.
Big thumbs up for the body language of the man at right, as well as his facial expression. This image is just so "happy" one can't help but smile at the moment here. It feels genuine and the people in the photograph seem very happy here, and it's easy to see in this photograph. It seems as if these people aren't aware of the photographer's presence, and that's a good thing.
OK, so I've seen this before a lot, but it still evokes a nice feeling. However, it is a little predictable, and I honestly think if this was a stronger category I wouldn't have ranked this as high but of those in this category, I still think it deserves recognition.
